Tom

Hi, my name’s Tom and I’m currently a 4th-year medical student at Brasenose College, Oxford, originally from North Yorkshire. At A Level I studied Maths (A*), Chemistry (A*) and Biology (A).

To date, I have tutored and mentored students from KS2 through to university applicants and would love to use this experience to help as many students as possible. It is true that no two students are the same and as such I strive to provide a unique and tailored service to individuals, whether that be more prescriptive when appropriate or alternatively place an emphasis on students directing their own learning. 

I have an interest in the science that underpins human physiology and clinical practice and have thoroughly enjoyed my course for the last two years, despite choosing medicine quite late. Approaching difficult concepts from multiple angles is something I have had to utilise throughout my education and is a challenge I relish.
