Sarah - medicine, University of oxford

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Medicine (graduate entry) student at Green Templeton College, Oxford, with a Master's degree in Chemistry from Magdalen College, Oxford. Before embarking on my chemistry degree, I achieved A-levels in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*), Chemistry (A*), and English Literature (A), along with 11 A* s at GCSE. With over seven years of tutoring experience, I specialise in GCSE Mathematics and Science, A-level Mathematics and Chemistry, and 11+ exam preparation. I also have a strong focus on Oxbridge and Medicine admissions, guiding students through the application and interview processes. Beyond tutoring, I enjoy range of hobbies, including reading, running, and practicing yoga.

My approach to tutoring is partly informed by two years of experience as a management consultant at Accenture, in that I create structured, goal-oriented sessions tailored to each student's unique needs and pace of learning. With a wealth of experience in tutoring, I’ve successfully guided many students through Oxbridge admissions, particularly in Chemistry and Medicine, covering every aspect from personal statements to TSA, BMAT, and UCAT preparation. My sessions are highly personalised and structured to build a solid foundation in key concepts, while addressing individual challenges through targeted practice. I take a student-led approach, adapting my methods to suit each learner's style and pace, ensuring that they remain engaged and confident throughout their journey.

For Oxbridge and Medicine interviews, I offer a supportive and engaging discussion environment to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My aim is to ensure students not only feel comfortable and prepared but are able to present their abilities in the best light when it matters most.
