Nia, PPE - University of Oxford
Hi! I'm Nia an Oxford PPE graduate pursuing an MPhil in Philosophy at UCL. My dissertation focuses on property and ownership, focusing on the works of philosophers like Locke and Hegel, and economists like Smith and Ricardo.
I have also written several articles about political philosophy. In true PPE (Politics, Philosophy & Economics) fashion, I have yet to leave any of the three behind!
I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my love of these subjects with others; it’s amazing to see your curiosity catching.
As well as more typical A-Level support across Politics, Economics, and Philosophy, I currently teach economic extension classes at a school. I am also experienced in guiding students through Oxbridge admissions and helping them to deliver their best performance at admissions tests.
My approach to tutoring is to let the student’s style of learning lead the sessions: If you are visual learner, I promise lots of pictures and diagrams. If instead you need to talk things out, then that is what we’ll do!
