Maddy

Hi, I’m Maddy. I’m 22 and have just graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford in July. I am now pursuing an MSc in Health Data Science at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, with a special focus on modelling the effects of Covid-19 on the population. I previously attended Guildford High School, where I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level, achieving 4 A*s.

I am enjoying tutoring alongside my degree and I find sharing my passion for numbers with students very rewarding. Growing up, maths did not always come easily to me, so I recognise the importance of nurturing each student’s abilities and growing their confidence. I believe every client thinks in a unique way and establishing the best method of learning is key to success. I have experience teaching science and maths to students of many ages, ranging from 11+ to A-Levels, and have pursued my love of tutoring alongside my own studies since 2015.
