Joby

Hi! My name is Joby and I’m currently a 4th year student studying for my Master of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. For my A-levels I studied Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*), Physics (A*) and Chemistry (A). I also achieved 9 A*s and 2 As at GCSE.

I have had lots of experience in tutoring in range of situations. In secondary school I tutored a number of younger students and helped them develop their reading. I also had the chance to take part in an expedition to Zambia where I taught many subjects, including maths, to students at various ages.

I am a patient person with a calm disposition, which is complementary to tutoring. As a tutor I value creating a comfortable environment where the student can realise their potential, as well as having a highly personalised teaching approach guided by the student to suit their needs and best support their work.
