Jakub - Economics and Management, University of Oxford

Hello, I'm Jakub, a graduate from Hertford College at the University of Oxford. I studied Economics and Management for three years, specialising in economics as well as obtaining a TSA score of 82.5 and interview scores of 9 and 9.5.

Before Oxford, I had the privilege of studying a variety of beloved courses as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I focused on Maths, Physics and Economics, alongside studying French, English Literature and Theatre. As you might be able to tell, I am a generalist and interested in inter-disciplinary studies! Next year I hope to continue my studies in France.

Teaching is important to me coming from a low-income background. At school, I was a mathematics tutor for fellow classmates and lower years. At university, I enrolled into the TEFL programme where I taught English to large classes and have been providing 1:1 tutoring in Economics, Mathematics, and University Admissions for a number of years. For admissions, I’m available to help with every stage: from choosing a subject and college to personal statements and practice interviews.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, drawing and playing sports.
