Jack

Hey there! I'm Jack and I am in my third year studying Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Oxford. In high school I studied all major STEM subjects (maths, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology) at the first-year university level and achieved grade 5 in all of my APs.

I have always found great joy in helping others understand complex concepts and overcome learning challenges. I hope to share my passion and admiration for the beauty of the theories and constructs that intertwine to form humanity's sophisticated repertoire of thought.

Over the past few years, I have tutored students in a variety of subjects at a variety of levels, ranging from high-school maths to university-level data structures and algorithms. I'm a large advocate of incorporating flexible experimentation into a structured regiment to help students develop an intuition and understanding that goes beyond the textbook. I really enjoy getting to know my students well so I can work closely with their learning styles and adapt my teaching methods to best suit their needs.
