Hi, I’m Gaurav and I currently in my third year at Oxford studying Mathematics. I studied Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*), Physics (A*) and History (A) at A-Level. 

Over the past 2 years, I’ve tutored Maths to various people from the Junior Maths Challenge all the way to MAT and STEP applications. Having worked with a large number of students, I understand that everyone has different learning styles and so tailor my lessons specifically to each students needs. 

I find impacting students perceptions of maths very rewarding,, especially emphasising the ways that certain concepts have useful applications to real life, and the ways that concepts from different branches of maths sometimes intertwine. 

Aside from tutoring and academics, my main hobby is cricket. I play for Oxford and my local club side. I also play badminton, football and rugby more casually.
