Fabiola - HSPS, University of Cambridge

Hi! I am Fabiola. I am a postgraduate student at the University of Law and recent Double-First class graduate student in Human, Social, and Political Sciences (HSPS) at the University of Cambridge with a specialisation in Politics and International Relations.

During my time at Cambridge, I have had the privilege of leading the STEM SMART Project for two consecutive years, supporting students from diverse backgrounds in their applications to Oxbridge universities. In my role as a mentor, I have had the opportunity to conduct webinars and one-on-one sessions, offering guidance on recommended readings, interview preparation, and constructive feedback on UCAS personal statements. Additionally, I have recently taken on the role of a lead tutor for the PPE Oxford Experience, where I introduced A-level students to the captivating fields of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at the University of Oxford.

I am also an international student, so I am familiar with applying to a University that is outside your home country, and the challenges this entails. I previously studied the IB, with top marks in Economics, History, Math and Italian at Higher Level. I have tutored the former subjects for more than 5 years now, both online and in-person – supported by a TEFL certification.

My tutoring style is adaptable to every student's needs, from getting accepted to a chosen university, to supporting your achievement of a specific mark, skills training or simply needing guidance. I relish working with multiple age groups and people of different backgrounds, and hope to make your university application process or revision period for exams less stressful and intimidating.
