Ella, History - University of Oxford

Hello, my name is Ella, and I graduated in 2022 from Oxford, where I studied History. I am now studying the MPhil in History of Science, Medicine and Technology at Oxford. I took History, Psychology, and Maths at A-Level, achieved A*A*A, and got an A in AS German and an EPQ on politics and the Olympic Games.

For the past eight years, I have tutored in various subjects, primarily History and Psychology A Level and preparation for University admissions. I am a qualified Swimming Teacher and have worked with children and young adults of all ages, a profession which surprisingly brings a lot of practice to tutoring sessions!

Away from my academics, I am a rower and President of the University Boat Club this year as we train for the 2024 Boat Race.

My main priority when tutoring someone is to increase their confidence in their ability and stimulate broader interests in the subject at hand. This in itself can be incredibly helpful to their academics.
