Daniel

Hi, I'm Daniel. I recently graduated from Oriel College, Oxford, where I studied Theology and Religion. Before Oxford, I achieved A* grades at A Level in Theology and English Literature (100%), an A in French, and an A* in my Extended Project on Classical literature.

While at Oxford, I founded Angel Incubator, a pre-accelerator for impact-driven startups, and LevelUp, an award-winning edtech startup. Through the latter, I worked closely with schools and tuition agencies to deliver exemplary educational experiences for 11+ and Common Entrance. I became familiar with methods like the CPA and digital tools like Classcraft. Since 2016, I have also personally tutored children aged 6-18 across a range of disciplines in the UK, China, and Tanzania. I am also currently serving with the Royal Navy as a part-time Officer.

I believe that one-to-one tutoring is a wonderful asset to a student and I personally get huge satisfaction from adapting my methods of teaching to each individual student. With subjects like theology, the most important factors are understanding the key concepts and having the confidence to elucidate your arguments. I work hard to make sure my students feel confident in their understanding of the material and their ability to deploy it.
