Hello, I’m Bethan and I am a second year Geographer at St Catherine’s College, Oxford. I studied A Levels in Further Mathematics (A*), Mathematics (A*), Geography (A*) and Spanish (A*), and was also Head Girl at my secondary school.

 I have a wide range of experience in tutoring, volunteering and part-time jobs. As well as Renewed Learning, I work with Physics & Maths tutor creating Geography GCSE revision material for their website. I am a creative, visual learner and feel that it is important to make this content as accessible as possible for all students, regardless of their academic strengths and interests.

 My past tutoring experience includes working with a Year 8 student, helping out with various subjects and revision technique. Through this I have seen first-hand the benefits of increasing a student’s confidence and enjoyment of learning, at the same time as ensuring academic success through practising exam technique and teaching through a range of techniques tailored to the individual student.

 I am patient, enthusiastic and open-minded, and passionate about helping students from any educational background to achieve their full potential!
