Annabelle - history, University of oxford

Hiya, I’m Annabelle! In 2022 I graduated from the University of Oxford with a first-class History B.A.  I am now at law school in London with aspirations to qualify in the United States in the future too.

For my A-Levels I studied History, English, and Politics. During my time at Oxford, I received three academic prizes and prior to acceptance I scored 95% in the History Entrance Test (HAT). Alongside more typical tutoring at GCSE and A-Level, I have helped a number of individuals prepare for Oxbridge admissions and also spent time volunteering in Thailand teaching English to children.

My aim as a tutor is to help build students’ confidence alongside offering tailored assistance on the more technical aspects of a subject. I empathise with how daunting learning can be, especially when things don’t quite click the first, second or third time round! The amount of content to learn in History can feel overwhelming, and I hope to help students find a sustainable and stress-free way to handle their course.

Outside of my studies I love art and travelling, and try to make time for both if I can. In 2023 I backpacked through Asia, the Middle East and Central America
